Marquis Design is a boutique, full-service interior design firm that specializes in managing and custom designing building projects, both residential and commercial. We are family-owned and -operated and have serviced the Greater Toronto Area and beyond for over 30 years. Edward
As founder and co-owner of Marquis Design (formerly Marquis Cabinets), Edward has mastered the art of custom cabinetry and interior architecture, working with both builders and homeowners for over 45 years. His work can be found in the many upscale neighborhoods of Toronto and extends as far as the Caribbean. Edward specializes in designing built-in custom cabinetry and producing his own production drawings.
Alene
Alene is co-owner and principal designer at Marquis and is grateful to follow in her father Edward’s footsteps, under whose training she first became acquainted with the inner workings of the industry. A talented interior architect (though she is also formally trained in exterior design), she is a member of ARIDO with over a decade of experience with both residential and commercial projects. While Alene is skilled at drafting detailed technical plans, her true calling is directly working with builders and clients to ensure their design needs are met to the highest standards.
Alain
As our marketing and communications executive here at Marquis Design, Alain mostly works behind-the-scenes. After completing his Ph.D., his academic pursuits eventually led him to a career in marketing and advertising. He enjoys sharing with those around him all the joys of aesthetic pleasure, whether deriving from the written word or from beautiful living spaces.
