Overview

Welcome to customization to the max! This project allowed our team to be involved from A to Z. Meaning, not just the design work involved…not just the custom cabinetry…but… the entire construction phase – bringing in all our trusted consultants and tradesmen to work. This is the kind of project which takes our concepts from a white piece of paper, straight into reality, giving us full control of the outcome. We redesigned the ground floor partially, exploring a number of concepts, before deciding on removing a load bearing wall, and completely opening up the kitchen to the family room. We chose specific finishes, (hardwood, fireplace, feature wall tile, mouldings, trims, paint colours & the furniture/art placement), that would compliment and be respectful to the existing Lorne Park architecture, while staying in tune with the clients exceptional taste. The custom cabinetry was a painted MDF finish, transitional door style, mixed with maple stained island. To the right of the family room fireplace wall, is the matching custom made, stained maple media centre, recessed and fitted perfectly into the existing jog in the wall. Inspired by our showroom, the fame feature in this design was the breakfast table – a drop down from the island, with beautifully designed maple stained legs and Caesarstone quartz countertop.
